I continue answering your questions, and today I’ll answer “Why trees do not have leaves in winter? Why do the leaves fall in autumn?”
It’s clear that trees look not really beautiful without leaves in winter, but our nature is very smart. The nature created the process with falling leaves for purpose.
Maybe you’ve seen when snow has fallen suddenly (before all leaves has fallen), then the branches of trees sag under the heaviness, and even broke sometimes. Now imagine what would be if leaves would not fall. The trees would just be broken in pieces under such heaviness.
Another important reason is that leaves need water, that is coming with rain in all the seasons except winter, when the roots of the tree are in the frozen ground and there is no possibility to get water for feeding leaves. In this way tree helps itself to go through the tough winter weeks to bloom again in spring.
And we will see it very soon, because the spring has already come.
